OmniV Systems redesigned the Regiscope website in early 2008. Regiscope has been in the business of documenting transactions since 1957. It became world famous by using a patented split-lens technology to record a face and the document associated with it on photographic film. Over 150,000 film-based units have been sold and it has become the standard in many industries.
In 2001 Regiscope introduced a digital line of equipment which does what the film based cameras do, only better. Crystal clear color images of faces, ID's and documents are encrypted and recorded on CD's. In addition, the equipment can produce visitors and permanent badges and integrate with other security systems.
